Running order for 'Intelligent Cities'
Future Cities Forum 9 ‘Intelligent Cities’ will take place at The WestWorks, White City Place, London on 3rd July 2018, 9.30 am to 12.30 pm.
We will be discussing how the use of data is becoming crucial in informing our decisions about city planning and transport. We will also debate best practice in the creation of new urban neighbourhoods, with a focus on work / live / learn knowledge hubs and how new models for workspace are changing the way we develop and design cities.
Theo Blackwell, Chief Digital Officer at the London Mayor’s office will be leading discussions on the first panel along while Rachel Fisher, Deputy Director for Regeneration and Infrastructure in the Cities and Local Growth Unit at the Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government will be joining the final panel.
Developers Stanhope and Mitsui Fudosan will also be speaking about the redesign of Television Centre and the creation of an urban knowledge hub at the mixed-use White City Place, which is part of the wider regeneration of the Shepherd’s Bush area.
Networking will start at 9.30 am and discussions will close at 12.30 pm. The format of the morning is as follows:
