Health equality in our cities
Our first panel at Healthy Cities looked at a range of issues that affect future health in cities. Chief Executive, Paul Lincoln, UK Health Forum spoke about he importance of introducing a new Health Act and the need to re-frame our understanding of chronic disease.
Professor Michael Jarvis of The Jarvis Lab, Plymouth University, described how investors could help to fund programmes whereby infectious diseases around the world could be stopped before spreading to cause widespread harm.
